Drought and loss of water

Rising temperatures and bad farming practices have resulted in water being harder to come by in many countries.

Chemicals that help grow crops (pesticides) are washed into rivers by the rain which can end up poisoning many animals and people's drinking water. By 2025, two-thirds of the world’s population may face water shortages.

We must try to make farming more environmentally friendly by reducing the amount of pesticides used to grow crops.
